Freddy Krueger

Who Is Freddy Krueger?

This fictional character created by Wes Craven had been portrayed by Robert Englund. However in the 2010 remake this serial killer is being player by the Academy Award nominee, Jackie Earle Haley.

The film came out in 1984 managed to soar in the box offices due to the disfigured stalker who used a razor gloved arm to kill his victims. The best part about this killer is that he kills his victims in their deal which finally result in their death in the real world as well.

Now although Kruger can attack his victims in their own dreams when he comes into the real world and has the usual human strength and he is very vulnerable. Most of us identify this murderer by his disfigured face which is burned, along with his dark green and red striped sweater and the brown fedora and who can forget the metal clawed brown leather glove which is like his trademark.

Wes Craven first got his inspiration of this heartless serial killer after he read a few stories in the Los Angeles Times. Although Wes first thought to make Krueger a child molester, he turned him into a child killer in the end. Now most of his inspirations came from ma bully he knew in high school and also a homeless man who had apparently frightened him when he was eleven. He says that the inspiration for creating Freddy’s infamous clawed glove came form his cat.

The “A Nightmare on Elm Street” horror franchise consists basically of nine films along with a TV show and also comic books too. In this film the killer basically kills teenager but does so in their dreams. If you want to know about the motives of the killer, it basically was the usual, revenge on parents who had apparently burned him while he was still alive.

In the very first film, Freddy kills a group of teenagers but doesn’t succeed in killing one, Nancy Thompson. In the end Nancy defeats Freddy by pulling the plug on his dream world and bringing him back to reality where he is vulnerable and Nancy isn’t scared of him anymore.

In the second movie he comes back to the house where Nancy used to live only to posses a new victim who is helped by his girlfriend to get rid of the spirit. In the third movie there is the return of Nancy Thompson who realizes at all the kids on Elm Street are being killed by Freddy.

Of course, the fun doesn’t stop with the video game.  Lego Star Wars is available as a full line of challenging building creations.  The Droid Tr-Fighter comes with droid escorts and rocket powered balls while the General Grievous Starfighter Lego Star Wars collection comes with General Grievous, a 4-D droid, Jedi knight mini figurines and a starfighter with hidden flick-firing missiles.

Decepticon Constructicons

Who are the Decepticon Constructicons?

Do you have any idea about the decepticons? You might have come across these terms in the recent past. These are actually some fictional characters from the universe of the transformers. These characters were recently used in an American science fiction film Revenge of the Fallen which released in the year 2009.

This is actually a sequel to the film Transformers which released in the year 20007. There are actually two main groups of the transformers. One is the autobots while the other is the decepticons.

One group is actually considered to be good while the other one is considered as bad. The devastator of the transformer was on the side of the decepticons and there was a combination of six robots. The group of the six robots was actually known as the constructicons.

The constructicons had the unique ability to merge themselves into a larger robot which is known as the devastator. These fictional characters are now also available in the form of toys. These toys have become very popular these days. The toy line was released in the year 2009.

It was a big hit from May 2009 to the early 2010. The first pictures of these toy lines started appearing on the internet in 2008. The devastator has only one purpose and that is to destroy everything at crosses his path.

This is actually a gigantic transformer but the actions of thoughts of this transformer can go up to a certain limit. It can go only as far as the six robots will allow it to go. The transformers combine to form a single powerful identity and hence each of them needs to agree on the thoughts and actions.

If they do not agree the transformer will not be able to perform the task. The combination of the transformers has both positive as well as negative effects. The good robots were used to construct different things. The robots could change themselves into different construction equipments like concrete mixer, dump truck and much more.

These robots were meant for construction but sometimes they could even bent on destruction according to the needs and requirements of the transformers. The animated series and the comics usually differ at some point.

According to the animated series the six robots could become one with the power which was provided by the magical leader of decepticons. On the other hand according to the comics the power was provided by the commander of the decepticons.

Two super robots were created who were against each other and wanted to destroy each other. The combined form of the transformers is actually brutal but they are in their purest form. The devastator is usually a being which works on instinct.

He gets rid of everything that comes on his way without even thinking about the consequence. But again the being is quite slow as well as lumbering. The six robots usually form the parts of the body of the final robot. Each of them also has a special role in construction.

King Kong versus Godzilla is still one of the most popular movies. This film was made in the year 1962. King Kong and Godzilla appeared in different movies but this was the first time when the two of them appeared in the same movie. This movie has a large fan following.

The film received the highest box office attendance in Japan. After the success of the movie the director announced that he is going to make a sequel of the film. But the sequel never happened. But now the rumors of King Kong Godzilla remake can be heard of.

If you’re looking for a toy to keep them amused you might try a water gun. I’ve found that this is a toy they keep going back to so you get value for money. But remember to lay down the ground rule that it is never pointed at you! Not that they will listen but you can try.

The Super Soaker Aquashock Sneak Attack water gun Is actually much more than just a water gun. First of all, it’s huge!  But not so big that it’s difficult to manage, but big enough to hold 47 ounces of water, which, for me, means less, will you fill this up?”  So the fun lasts a LOT longer between fill-ups!

The stream is amazing!  You can shoot someone from twenty feet away!  My daughter gets a kick out of being able to hit me while remaining a safe distance away. Not only that, but there isn’t so much “pumping” required, so even a small child can have fun without very much assistance.

There are many reasons why this toy would be a great purchase for a child of any age. I think the thing that impressed me most was the four-way nozzle.  It increases the chances of catching someone off guard.  You can shoot from any angle!

Ok, I may have tried it once or twice but just for educational reasons!

As you can see in the picture this bouncer seat has just about everything that could possibly make a baby happy. There’s a soothing vibration mode to help calm a fussy baby, and two different play modes.

The parent-activated play mode features six longer, continuously playing songs, while the baby-activated mode, which kicks off when baby bats at the hanging toys to activate the light-up waterfall and peek-a-boo action, has six shorter songs plus three sound effects that serve as a reward for baby when he or she plays actively with the toys.

I think the only thing I didn’t like about this bouncer seat was the required 4 “D batteries” that it takes! However, once those batteries are in, the bouncy seat works hard to keep baby entertained.

The see through waterfall is absolutely captivating, and you might just find yourself staring into it if you sit next to baby for any length of time. The music the seat plays is upbeat, fun, and it might just get stuck in your head of your baby is a frequent bouncer.
