Dress up your Barbie dolls the way you want!

Just like any real girl, Barbie must decide what to wear any situation that might occur. It’s all the fun of getting ready to go out that girls enjoy and the Barbie dress up games make experimentation with different looks, really easy. Even singer and actress Hilary Duff has designed some of the outfits and there are many outfits to choose from. Maybe a prom dress, ball gown or cocktail dress or maybe a wedding dress!

Ever since Mattel brought out the Barbie doll in 1959 little girls around the world have played with her and collected all the outfits and accessories. The Barbie franchise is a very lucrative one with clothes, accessories, games, play houses and cars for sale. Girls like to imagine the doll in different scenarios with outfits to match. The doll has been around for a long time but she has kept up with all the changes in style and looks.

As with all fashion collections, Barbie’s wardrobe is divided into seasons with outfits appropriate to summer, spring, autumn and winter. Even boyfriend Ken gets in on the act with outfits for any occasion. Dressing up is a big part of the appeal of the doll and she has always been a well dressed lady!

Barbie has changed over the years, from house wife to having all sorts of careers, but she has always been a busy lady with hobbies and a hectic social life. Her wardrobe is extensive so there is no fear of running out of outfits.

There are formal outfits, such as a purple satin gown and a faux fur trimmed cape. There are specialist costumes like the Barbie cheerleading outfit. Barbie still likes to look good when she is casually dressed, in jeans or shorts. She also looks great in sportswear and there is an extensive line of pajamas and nightgowns.

Barbie & ken, who gets the Pink Townhouse?

Shocking news around the world about Barbie and Ken!

It can’t be true, can it?  Barbie and Ken have split up. The media made such an ordeal out of it after Mattel announced that the famous couple has decided to go their own ways. Surprisingly, people were upset about this announcement. Mattel reported getting lots of emails from upset fans over this decision.

You can still play with them and make-believe that they are a happily married couple. You don’t really have to tell your children that Barbie and Ken are divorcing or even worry about what to tell your kids. They are simply dolls.

I live next door to a real-life Barbie and Ken. Though she prefers to be called “Barbs”, she and her husband certainly fit the replica of the famous couple. I have some suspicions that her perfect figure has had some cosmetic assistance but she will deny it a thousand times over.

Of course, Barbie’s figure is completely cosmetic and she’s probably quite proud to admit that. My neighbors, Barbie and Ken, are just tickled pink whenever someone makes a comment about how they fit the roles of being the perfect couple. She giggles hysterically and shrugs it off but you can see her holding back her glowing smile. She loves the attention. Her husband is much more down-to-earth.

I remember in junior high school, my boyfriend and I dressed up like Barbie and Ken for a Halloween party one year. Dressed up elegantly as Barbie that night, I had my first kiss. It was just as awkward as a first kiss should be and I thought that I felt just as “in love” as Barbie and Ken should feel.

Years later, I smile at the memory but I have no idea when my Ken from that memorable night is these days. I’m not sure I really care. But, if anyone should be upset about Barbie and Ken splitting up, it should be me. Afterall, that first kiss meant the world to me and gave Barbie and I a special bond.

However, I am not upset because I realize that Barbie and Ken are dolls. They are nothing more than two plastic dolls that children (and adults) play make-believe with. You can choose to believe that they have not split up and just like real life celebrities can verify, Hollywood gossip is sometimes merely gossip. Life goes on. Just ask Barbie and Ken.

The Barbie 3 story pink townhouse is a great gift this Christmas for any special girl.

Barbies New 3 Story Pink Townhouse

This is one accessory to the Barbie collection that will most definitely bring many hours of enjoyment to your child’s playtime. Barbie’s New 3 Story Pink Townhouse is a must for kids who love to play with their dolls.

Imagination and play go hand-in-hand. Your child’s imagination will run wild through this huge pink toy dollhouse. The Barbie Dream Townhouse offers just about every detail that you could possibly want in a tool for building imaginative play for your child. This is a favorite toy for many girls.

The Barbie Dream Townhouse affords much of the luxury of details through its relatively large size. The item offers three stories of fun for your child to enjoy. My daughter is in a virtual dream land when she plays with this massive dollhouse. She spends hours and hours playing with this, her most favorite toy on the planet.

I decided to invest in this toy when I saw my daughter desperately trying to make a home for her dolls. She would use makeshift items that just didn’t do the trick. While I was impressed by her efforts, I just wasn’t thrilled by how seemingly disappointed she was in her projects. Empty boxes, shoes and towels go only so far. She really needed something more.

And boy, did she get something more. Actually, she got more with the Barbie Dream Townhouse than I could possibly imagine. I was initially taken back by the massive size of the unit. This impressive doll house offers plenty of room for Barbie and all of her friends. It also offers plenty of room for enjoyment.

Many dollhouses have a few rooms that are cramped and difficult to navigate. I remember playing with my dollhouse as a child and feeling pretty claustrophobic in the process. The open design of the Barbie Doll House is ideal for getting little hands in and out of the structure. Space is definitely not an issue when it comes to this roomy toy.

There are plenty of rooms in the Barbie Pink Townhouse that have knock-out details that your little one will love. I am taken back by the many sights and sounds that this thoughtful toy offers. Details include everything from songs on the intercom to a sizzling stovetop and a doorbell. Amazing how much enjoyment comes with an item that stands three feet in height.

At the Moment there is a $30 saving which will no doubt add to the Christmas rush for this gift. Make sure you get your Barbie’s 3 Story Pink Townhouse while there still in stock!
